Lower Level Living

We started with an unfinished basement in St.Catharines. Our goal was to make this a girl cave for the owners two daughters. Wanting to make this space bright and cozy and somewhere they would want to spend time in with their friends. We used finishes that would be used on a main level. Engineered hardwood, quartz countertops, custom built-ins with stone surround fireplace and lots of lighting feels like a main floor family room.  We even built a bay window daybed with a custom mattress top with a pull out trundle bed below for those sleepovers. They call it the Genie bed. This space is also a favorite space for family movie nights and viewing the big game on tv.
